Colleges to Mandate Vaccines Before Students Can Return

With students, parents and school administration anxious to get back to more in-person learning, there is a lot that is going into planning for the Fall return. This is especially the case for college students who have to live on campus and be in larger classroom settings and campus spaces. A number of major universities have decided to make it mandatory that students receive their Covid 19 vaccine before being able to come back to campus. Rutgers University started this movement towards mandated vaccines, with lots of other colleges and universities joining them in mandating the vaccine. These include Cornell, Boston University, Duke and more. While the vaccine is encouraged, California State Universities will not require Covid Vaccines to return in the Fall, and at this time other schools like Stanford and UC Berkeley are still reportedly considering this as a requirement.
