Nintendo fans will be pleased to know that Super Nintendo World is set to open at Universal Studios Japan on February 4th, 2021!
This new area of the park will feature a Mario Kart themed roller coaster and more to be announced! A themed cafe and gift shop have already opened in the main area of Universal Studios.
According to The Verge:
The park says it’s working with health administration officials to ensure a safe environment for visitors and staff, and is currently operating at 50-percent capacity... Japan has largely avoided strict lockdown measures to date, however, relying on contact tracing and near-universal mask-wearing to mitigate the pandemic’s impact.
