San Francisco's popular bar and arcade, Coin-Op, closes its doors after three years in business.
Coin-Op was conveniently located in the SOMA district in SF and often had frequent visitors from the neighboring companies stopping by for a quick drink. Due to COVID-19, the city has been understandably quiet with less foot traffic as many employees started working from home.
According to SF GATE:
Coin-Op’s San Francisco location depended on after-work happy hours and corporate parties, which all but disappeared in March..."
Gov. Newsom announced today that San Francisco County has entered the RED TIER and has paused all reopenings to combat the spread of COVID-19. Hopefully the Bay Area improves soon and Coin-Op can return some time in the future!
