According toABC7 News, Alameda County's top prosecutor announced on Monday, October 5 that she will be reopening the investigation into the death of Oscar Grant, a young father who was shot and killed by Oakland BART police on New Year's Day in 2009.
"We have listened closely to the requests of the family of Oscar Grant. The murder of Oscar Grant greatly impacted the county and the state," the DA said.
