We all know that when you need advice the best place to get it is not from a professional or family member, it's Twitter.
Shelby Johnson asked Twitter how to deal with her boyfriend who had been sending messages about his concern over her weight, saying stuff like he was worried "her gut might stick out more than his" even though she only weighs 119 pounds.
Johnson put the texts on Twitter and the reaction was very much in her favor and has received over 5000 comments ranging from "let him go" to "you're definitely over-reacting."
The boyfriend says that he only said those things to her because he wants to have the same woman he met, and he thought she was getting a beer gut.

My partner said this to me. Am I overreacting for feeling hurt by this? I’m at a loss and just can’t even comprehend how someone who claims to love me can say this. pic.twitter.com/JpOrtkSZ4h
My journey of my body has been long. In highschool I was 80-90 and my doctors never figured out why I couldn’t keep on weight. At 20, I started gaining. When i did, I never felt happier and more healthy. I worked hard for this body. I am 120 pounds of pure growth. pic.twitter.com/vyLGUuT0fu— shelbs (@babyyygucci) March 30, 2018

no no no Austin. A girl should never be made to feel like crap. Especially by her boyfriend.— carleye (@carleye_grace) April 1, 2018
A girl should never have this said to her by anybody, but especially by her boyfriend. Not okay under any circumstances.
Get your act together.
