A Hog Mountain, Georgia mom decided to show her son that money doesn’t change who we are as people after her 13-year-old began acting “entitled” and was making remarks about kids at school who shopped at Goodwill.

Cierra Brittany Forney made her son use his own money to buy a weeks worth of clothes at the local Goodwill, Forney’s son wasn’t happy and there were a few tears involved but Forney says she believes that her son learned a valuable lesson.

“I want to teach my kids that money isn't everything and if you have to degrade other people because of where they shop, then you too will shop there.” Forney shared with her Facebook friends.

After posting a video of her son’s Goodwill shopping the video went viral earning over 212,000 shares and 575,000 reactions, "For a child acting entitled and criticizing others for shopping there, this is the perfect way of humbling him," commented a viewer.

In a second post Forney wrote, “I SOLELY did this to help my son become a better man.”
