Warriors Helping Bay Area Kids Instead Of Going To White House

Remember last September when President Trump "withdrew" his invitation to the Golden State Warriors to visit the White House after winning the NBA Championship? Well Coach Steve Kerr and the team have decided to take that day, February 27, to do something good. He's letting the team pick out the venue and it's going to be closed to the public.

"It's their championship. They got disinvited to the White House, so it's up to them what they wanted to do. So they made their plans," Kerr told ESPN. "I want the players to have a good day and to do something positive and to enjoy what they're doing."
