During the Thursday AM commute a person was killed in a collision between an AC Transit bus and a car. Reportedly, the AC Transit bus was T boned by the driver of a 4 door red car, which caused both the Bus and car to crash into other cars and two homes in Berkeley at the California Street and Ashby intersection. Residents of the one of the homes said they heard the crash and had to exit from the back of the house as their porch and front door were damaged. The bus driver and one passenger that were on the bus were not injured and there are still closures in the area as cleanup and an investigation of the accident continues. Expect delays on the 80 & 81 lines.
