Steven Ramirez an ex-Burger King employee walked into his job at the time and threatened to shoot up everything from the kitchen to the front door if his manager did not increase his hours from 30 to 40 per week, the manager on duty immediately called police. Upon arrival, the Las Vegas PD evacuated 6 employees and 4 customers out of the back door.
Once it was safe the police stormed into the restaurant and took the man into custody. A 30-round magazine and 15 bullets were found in Ramirez's pocket.
Upon obtaining a search warrant, the police found a partially assembled semi-auto rifle and machete in the his backpack.
