Republican elected official Steve Alford from the state of Kansas just brought back an old school Jim Crow myth that African Americans are genetically predisposed to handle marijuana more poorly than other races during a speech over the weekend.
The State Representative told a room full of people that marijuana was criminalized in the 1930’s because black people didn't know how to act when they used Cannabis.
This sounds like he got his info from the old school movie 'Reefer Madness'.....
