The memory of rapper Tupac Shakur, who was tragically killed in Las Vegas in 1996, will be honored with the opening of a pop-up restaurant in New York April 7-9.
Pac wrote pages of ideas for a café where his friends could "escape the worldz cold reality." He named the project "Powamekka Café."
Over 20 years after his passing, his plans have become reality in New York. The Tupac-inspired café will open for three days, April 7-9.
It will serve his favorite food including meatloaf, okra, and his cousin Jamala's fried chicken wings. R.I.P. Tupac Amaru Shakur.
