Bay Area USPS Worker Robbed & Beaten While On Route

A USPS worker was robbed and beaten in Oakland!

According to KTVU, the USPS worker was approached by two men at 41st Street and Telegraph Avenue area. One of the men proceeded to grab the worker's postal truck keys and punch him in the face. They then fled in a U-Haul van. An ambulance was called, but luckily the worker did not require treatment.

Unfortunately, this was the second time the USPS worker was robbed in the same neighborhood.

Robbing a postal worker is reportedly a federal crime.
