Nike is suing BAPE!
According to Hypebeast, Nike filed a lawsuit on January 25, 2023 against A Bathing Ape (BAPE) for copying Nike's iconic and trademarked shoe wear designs. Nike also claims that BAPE's top selling sneakers are "near verbatim copies" of the Nike Air Force 1, Air Jordan 1 and Nike Dunk. BAPE has allegedly denied all requests to stop sales.
"Nike is hoping that BAPE will stop selling the shoes and pay a requested, unspecified amount of money for damages incurred," Hypebeast reports.
