Another Oakland store has been burglarized!
The Quick Stop on the corner of Merritt and Brooklyn Ave. was broken into for the third time when thieves crashed an SUV into the store. According to KTVU, the thieves attempted to steal the store's ATM machine, but were ultimately unsuccessful. They reportedly had some trouble getting the vehicle out of the store and fled in a second vehicle when the police arrived at the scene.
"Neighbors said they're concerned that this type of crime will continue to happen since the thieves were at the store when police arrived and they still got away," says KTVU.
