If you bought a Powerball ticket in San Leandro, you might be a millionaire!
According to NBC Bay Area, a ticket worth $1.1 Million was purchased at the 76 gas station on 15199 Washington Ave. matching 5/5 Powerball numbers! Although the lucky customer didn't hit the Powerball number, they still get to claim a pretty hefty prize. As of Sunday, November 6, the gas station owner was still waiting on confirmation about the winning ticket.
Two other people in California hit 5/5 Powerball numbers. One winner was from Lassen County and the other in San Diego county.
The Powerball has now reached a record high at $1.9 Billion. The next drawing is Monday night at 7PM.
