There will be another area code coming to the Bay Area! Get ready to rep (369)!
The new (369) area code will reportedly be added to the (707) region starting on February 1, 2023. If you request a new service or get a new line in that area, you will likely receive a (369) number. Existing (707) numbers will not be affected by the change.
"According to the Northern American Numbering Plan Administrator — an office that assigns area codes — the 707 area code was projected to run out of available prefixes by the fourth quarter of 2023," the SF Chronicle reports.
