16-Year-Old Allegedly Punched School Principal, Knocking Her Unconscious

A 16-year-old student in Boston is facing assault and battery charges after knocking the school principal unconscious.

According to the NY Post, the teen asked the principal and another school employee to "stop following her." Afterwards, the student proceeded to attack them, swinging at the principal and later sending her to the hospital.

Boston Public Schools Superintendent Brenda Cassellius sent out a statement, saying:

“We want to be clear: Violence of any kind is not tolerated and will not be tolerated in the Boston Public Schools."
