Mj Rodriguez just made history.
The Emmy nominations were announced today (Tuesday).
Mj is now the first transgender actor to earn a nomination for a leading role.
The 30 year old actress is nominated in the category of Best Leading actress in a Drama Series.
It was for her role as Blanca Evangelista in the FX series, Pose.
