Dr. Seuss the famed children's book author is having some of his books ending their publication run because of some unsavory images that support cultural stereotypes.
6 books were named in the announcement including "If I Ran the Zoo", "Cat's Quizzer", "And To Think I Saw It On Mulberry Street", "McElligot's Pool", "On Beyond Zebra!", and "Scrambled Eggs Super!".
The images in question have brought critics to declare them as RACIST and not inclusive of all members of the community. The Dr. Seuss team released this statement on their instagram page.
Meantime, the price gougers are in full effect on AMAZON, EBay and other online purchasing outlets. Books like "If I Ran The Zoo" are going for upwards of $1500 for one hard copy!!!
