Bay Area school board member THREATEN PARENTS with physical violence?!

Oakley school board members met this week to discuss a return to in-person school year and had some choice words for the parents and how they have felt attacked for the delay of creating a plan.

Kim Beede decided it was her duty to express to the other board members that if parents want to call her out that she would meet them with violence. "B* if you call me out, I'm going to F you up!!" were her exact words. Before Kim made the statement she asked if the board members were alone in the zoom meeting and of course they were not because they invite parents to witness the meeting live.

Lisa Brizendine, another school board member added "they just want their babysitters back". What an insensitive comment to make for hard working parents who have had to pick up the slack and lack of effort for some teachers. Kids miss their friends and are not getting the education they deserve because of distance learning. Some commuting suicide, suffering from depression, no internet access, no computing devices, the list is long as to why kids need to be back in a community school setting that go beyond having somewhere to put them for the day.

The community is calling for these members to resign and they should willingly take a seat. How childish are you to insight physical violence and then accuse families of just wanting to dump off their kids. Definitely not who I would want making decisions for my child. Lead by example or GTFOH!!! RESPECTFULLY.
