Austin Chenge, a Black governor candidate in Michigan said if he is elected he would cancel Black History Month in the state.
Instead he would have American History Month.
Chenge is a supporter of both former President Donald Trump and the insurrectionists who stormed the Capitol last month.
He tweeted, it's offensive, unfair and maybe illegal.
He is challenging Democratic candidate Gretchen Whitmer.
