A proposal by Gavin Newsom will give $600 payments to low-income Californians, this includes people with an annual income of less than $30,000.
The Governor put out a statement saying,
Californians who have been impacted by this pandemic will get help to provide for their families and keep a roof over their heads.
The payments are expected to go out in February and March.
