37-year-old Jesse Martinez is possibly facing 28 years to life in state prison after fatally bludgeoning an 82-year-old man with an oxygen tank. Both COVID-19 patients were sharing a room at an LA hospital.
The 37-year-old allegedly got upset after the 82-year-old began to pray. Martinez is facing one count of murder, elder abuse, and hate crime allegations.
