Two days before Christmas a nurse in Concord was on her way to work when she was hit in the right eye after a rock smashed the car's windshield on the highway. The rock was the size of a grapefruit, it is believed someone threw it from an overpass.
The labor and delivery nurse has not been able to recover her eyesight on the right eye and had to get reconstructive surgery on Christmas day. She has set up a GoFundMe account to help with hospital bills.
