Co-host of The Real and former DWTS contestant Jeannie Mai checked in with the dance competition via video Monday night.
She had to drop out of the show to have emergency surgery.
Due to her having to drop out the show did not have a double elimination, just one couple was sent home.
Jeannie said doctors told her if she had waited one more day her throat would have closed.
She said she was devastated her DWTS journey had to end this way and said surgery went great.
