Protester's toppled a statue of Father Junipero Serra in San Francisco on Indigenous People's Day. The following day the archbishop of San Francisco performed a small exorcism ceremony where the statue once stood to drive out evil and defend Junipero Serra's image.
Junipero Serra is praised for bringing Roman Catholicism to California.
