On Wednesday August 26, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District has officially extended Spare the Air alerts through this Friday 9August 28) due to smoke that continues to cover the region from various wildfires throughout the Bay Area.
On Spare the Air days, the burning of wood, manufactured fire logs or other solid fuel is banned both indoors and outdoors. For more updates regarding wildfires in the Bay click here!
