The current fires have kept fire departments busy day and night. While the fire commander of the CZU Lightning Complex Fire was battling the flames, a looter went into his truck and stole his wallet.
At a briefing on Sunday morning, battalion chief Mark Brunton said,
It’s unfortunate and sickening that one of our fire ground commanders in that area, while out taking care of business and directing firefighting crews, somebody entered his vehicle
Not only did the looter steal his personal items, the looter also drained his entire bank account.
