Teen Wins Court Case Over School Who Told Him To Cut His Dreadlocks

A Texas teen has won a court victory over the school district that tried to force him to cut his dreadlocks.

Back in January, 16-year-old Kaden Bradford was suspended and told he couldn't walk in his graduation ceremony unless he cut the locs, which his school said were a dress code violation. The story briefly made a celebrity out of Kaden, who was invited to the Oscars and given a $20,000 scholarship by Ellen DeGeneres.

Now he's got a legal victory as well - a U.S. District Court Judge has blocked the district from enforcing the policy or punishing Kaden.
