A peaceful protest took place in Oakland to stand in solidarity with what's currently going on in Portland. Police said things quickly turned when some people in the crowd started vandalizing locations and destroying street signs in downtown Oakland. Among the buildings vandalized was the Alameda County Superior Courthouse which was set on fire and had several windows broken.
