African American Sports and Entertainment Committee are looking to bring an NFL team back to Oakland. They are hoping to create the first African American owned team in the NFL. In a letter sent to the NFL, the group states they will be privately financing the team and will not seek government funds. The league has received the letter but have yet to respond.
