James Juanillo was approached by a couple walking in his neighborhood of Pacific Heights saying he was defacing private property. The man was writing 'Black Lives Matter' on his own property when the couple said he was dong something illegal. They did not believe that the man lived in the house and called the police. Juanillo, who knew the police, said they simply waved at him and left. He has lived in the home since 2002.
