It's time for another look at the notable crimes reported in the Castro since our last roundup. All details are from SFPD reports, unless otherwise noted.
Man robbed at gunpoint
On November 13th at 4:00 a.m., a 35-year-old man was near Market and Sanchez streets when a man in his sixties pulled out a handgun and stole the younger man's money and phone. The victim was uninjured.
Woman assaults man with beer bottle
Early on November 11th at 12:02 a.m., a 47-year-old man got into a verbal argument with a 30-year-old woman near 18th and Castro streets. The argument escalated, and the woman hit the man with a beer bottle before fleeing. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Portable toilet fire
On November 7th at 2:40 a.m., the SF Fire Department was alerted to a male suspect who allegedly set fire to a portable toilet on 20th near Church. The suspect fled the scene before units arrived to extinguish the fire.
Man realizes he's been stabbed
On November 5th at 5:25 p.m., a 34-year-old man was on 20th Street near Dolores Street when a man, 24, approached him from behind, struck him and fled. The older man subsequently noticed that he had been stabbed with a knife, and was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Late-night bike thief burgles garage
On November 2nd at 11:30 p.m., a 34-year-old man awoke to find that his garage door had been opened at his residence near 19th and Noe. An unknown suspect had entered and stolen a bicycle.
