I'm truly surprised he hasn't been attacked sooner. Justin T Johnson, one of the suspects arrested for the murder of rapper Young Dolph, was reportedly attacked in jail. TMZ is reporting Johnson was on a phone call Friday when another inmate at the Tennessee's Shelby County Jail suddenly punched him in the face.
Johnson was reportedly on the phone in the jail's visitation area when an inmate walked up and punched him. No word on a motive for the attack and Johnson was not severely injured.
The Shelby County Sheriff's Office confirmed there was an incident Friday involving Johnson and another inmate, and it's under investigation.
Johnson was taken into custody in early January 2022 after evading police and failing to turn himself in.Johnson maintains he is innocent of the alleged crime.
