A child was reportedly born in full view of the public on Thursday, and video shared on social media captured the immediate aftermath of the delivery.
In the footage, there was a fully dressed woman with a new born baby lying on the sidewalk at her legs, as others gathered to offer assistance. The crying newborn is then wrapped in a cloth as the woman attempts to pick up the baby. The incident took place close to the 900 block of Geary Street in Union Square.
According to the post, the witness who filmed the video claims the woman had allegedly been doing drugs all afternoon.
