During 'Oakland Restaurant Week' a popular Oakland restaurant was broken into TWICE! Known for their famous smoked ribs & brisket, Everett & Jones BBQ has been serving the Oakland community since 1973. Owner, Nina Moore spoke with the KTVU new crew saying how sad and angry she was. The first break-in happened Last Monday (3/20/2023), on camera you see a breaking into the restaurant's office going straight towards a safe. There were two safes in the office, a big and smaller one. The thief tried sawing open the big safe and was unable to open it, leaving him the only option to roll the smaller safe out on a office chair to his escape vehicle. The same man then came back Tuesday morning and successfully broke into the bigger safe this time, drilling a hole and grabbing the cash from inside. Sound like an inside job to me.
