Bay Area Storm: Over 100k Customers Without Power Across 42 Counties

On Monday, PG&E officials stated that more than 100k customers across 42 counties in California are without power. Monterey county being affected the most, with nearly 17k customers currently without power and San Mateo County with the least at about 4200 customers without power. PG&E COO Adam Wright said, "The company has also set up base camps in the North Coast region and Santa Cruz County and pre-positioned crews and repair and replacement equipment in areas expected to experience the brunt of the storms. It is also providing power via portable electric generators to roughly 6,000 customers in Humboldt and Mendocino counties."
