Due to floods brought on by a tenant who, according to authorities, destroyed a high-pressure fire fighting pipe, an entire floor of a San Francisco high rise has been displaced.

Due to floods, residents of the upscale 100 Van Ness condominiums awoke on Tuesday to the sound of fire alarms in their building. Some have compared the occurrence to a scene from the film Titanic.

The San Francisco Fire Department reports that all of the building's 11th floor residents have been displaced. Additionally, according to fire officials, several of the units on lower floors also sustained damage.

On the eleventh story, a renter who had somehow broken a high-pressure firefighting water pipe was discovered by fire departments and building management. It was stated that the renter, Michael Nien, was going through a "behavioral crisis."

Police have since detained Nien, 46. He is accused of felony vandalism and resisting arrest. Hope these people have insurance!
