17-YO Suspect In Fatal Stabbing Of Wig Shop Owner In DTLA, Goes LIVE On IG

The murder of a business owner has rocked the the Fashion District of downtown Los Angeles, and now two teenagers are have been arrested for the crime.

A wig is thought to have been the reason for the death of the store owner, eventually identified as Du Young "Tommy" Lee. According to reports, Lee, who ran the wig shop for approximately 20 years, sought to stop the teens from robbing him of his products.

On October 1, the store owner was fatally stabbed after the attempted shoplifting escalated to a physical fight between Lee and the teenage suspects.

The tragic incident eventually led to the arrest of both culprits. Due to the fact that they were both minors, neither names were disclosed.

Video emerged online allegedly of one of the teen suspects showing off her handcuffs in the back of a police car saying he cuffs were loose and "they don't know I got my phone on me."

She went on to say she can't say what happened because there's cameras in the car but "just know we got active.... Downtown LA area... Somebody died." It seems she doesn't realize how serious these allegations are.
