Scientists at Stanford are warning about the possibility of an earthquake as big as Loma Prieta was in 1989, could happen soon in Silicon Valley. They believe this earth quake has the potential to produce a 6.9 magnitude quake. Scientist are not saying it is a for sure thing coming but are making the public aware of the fault line called the "Foothill Trust Belt" that sits under Silicon Valley.
