Irv Gotti is being dragged by Fat Joe after Irv exposed his relationship (20 years ago while Irv WAS MARRIED) with Ashanti. While promoting his new BET documentary on "Drink Champs," Irv claimed their affair "helped her career" and that they had a sexual relationship.
The foundation for Ashanti's famous song "Happy" Irv claims to have been created after they supposedly "just finished sleeping together," according to a clip from the viral interview that went viral over the weekend.
Irv repeatedly brings up Ashanti during the conversation, and her Murda Inc. labelmate Ja Rule repeatedly states that he is unaware of her relationship with Irv. This is a point that Fat Joe makes in his live, where he blasted Ja and Irv.
