Heartbreaking news. A 17-year-old boy took his own life after he was a victim of an online sextortion plot. It started with a beautiful twitter girl contacting him. After he confirmed the account wasn't fake, Jordan Demay sent an explicit image. The account then demanded cash or they would expose the explicit photo to his family and friends. After paying the first time, they then demanded more money. Eventually, Jordan said you "you win, i'm going to kill myself." The fake account then responded "go ahead."
Six hours later Jordan took his own life. Police are investigating the extortion. Our thoughts are with the Demay family.
