Another special moment from Sunday nights Oscars ceremony was Questlove winning an Oscar for his documentary 'Summer Of Soul.' Ironically, Chris Rock was on stage to present the winner for Best Documentary when his commentary and jokes to lead into announcing the winner, actually lead to Will Smith to walk on stage and slap Chris Rock. Because Questlove was nominated for Best Documentary, apparently he missed the entire incident trying to manage his emotions by meditating! He stated he felt like he and his mother "were the only two people in the room." He was meditating with his eyes closed and when he opened his eyes, he was confused about what had just happened. He was "not present at all."
Chris Rock was a true professional keeping the show going after the slap and still managed to announce 'Summer Of Soul' as the winner. Watch his acceptance speech below!
