The opportunity is now open to join Dev Mission for their free Digital Music Lab Program. Youth between the ages of 14-21 will have the opportunity to learn about the history of music, music production, performance and the music business. While in the 8 week program these youth will not only learn about the software and hardware used to produce music, but they will receive equipment to help produce their own original content. The Digital Music Lab is not only a space where students can tap in to their creativity but it's also a space to build confidence, discover some potential STEAM career paths, gain hands on skills and begin the search for their true voice. At the completion of the program students also get to perform their works of art at a ceremony that not only acknowledges and celebrates their hard work. Excited yet? The Digital Music Lab will be in person in the Bayview Hunters Point West and virtual in the Western Addition.
