Drunk JetBlue pilot is removed from the cockpit minutes before take-off

Thanks to an aware pilot and TSA agent, a Jetblue co-pilot was removed from the cockpit of a planned JetBlue flight for being drunk. The 52-year-old co-pilot was walking through the airport when a TSA agent noticed he seemed to be impaired.

NFTA police removed the co-pilot from the planes cockpit, took a breathalyzer which detected a .17 bac! The flight 2465 from Buffalo to Fort Lauderdale was delayed as passengers watched the interaction between NFTA police and the co-pilot.

Passengers delayed due to the legally drunk co-pilot were given $200 travel credits for their inconvenience.
