A mother is speaking out on how Oakland Police treated her after she fired warning shots to scare off a home intruder. The mom found the person in front of her home rummaging through her car when she is seen coming outside firing her gun straight up in the air.
She says at the time, she didn't realize until after the intruder had her keys and had already been inside her home. Her children were inside the home when the incident occurred. After OPD arrived, police handcuffed the mother asking to take possession of her gun because she had shot into the air.
