TikTok Star, 14, Reveals How Her Ex-Cop Father Shot Dead Her 18-Y-O Stalker

A 14-year-old TikTok star is revealing her story to The New York Times after her father was forced to shoot and kill her alleged 18-year-old stalker. Ava Majury has more than 1 million followers on TikTok since launching her account in 2020 when she was 13 years old. Most of Ava's videos are of her singing, dancing or pulling pranks with her friends and family.

The now 14-year-old and her family moved from New Jersey to Florida after her father Rob retired from the police department.

Her popular Tiktok videos attracted 18-year-old Eric Rohan Justin, who lived with his mother in Maryland. Eric began commenting on her videos, messaging her directly and begging for explicit photos. Ava's father then stepped in and told him to stop. Initially, Ava would receive Venmo payments for innocent photos like a selfie. Eric then stepped up his infatuation with Ava when he bought her phone number from her friends!

On July 10, 2021, Eric appeared outside the family's home at 4.30am with a gun. Eric fired one shot through the door then hid.

'All I remember was, I heard it, I felt it in my chest, and I looked up, and there was a hole in my door from the fragments,' Ava told The New York Times. Ava's father pursued Eric yet fell, then decided to return home and retrieve his gun. Ava's father, Rob, then waited inside his front door for Eric to return and when he did Rob shot and killed Eric in front of his home.

Rob was not charged because the shooting was deemed justified and legal under Florida's Stand Your Ground law

The stalker's family confirmed the story saying 'He was a nice kid. I’m at a loss for words. I don’t know what went bad with him. He made a bad choice,' his father said, adding that his son was a good student who did well in math.

Ava is now being homeschooled yet her family wants people to be aware of the dangers that come with social media fame. Ava continues to post for brands on Tiktok and Instagram with her parents permission.
