A woman died after she was dragged onto the BART tracks at the Powell Street station in San Francisco. The unfortunate incident occurred when the women attempted to get off the train last minute yet her dog whom was to connected to her with the leash attached to her hip, did not make the doors closing. The dog remained inside the train as the woman was drug by the B.A.R.T. train at the Powell St station.
Witnesses say a man may have been with the woman and was distraught over the situation. The dog was not injured in the incident. Depending on how far down the platform, I wouldn't be surprised if the train driver couldn't see the leash. Tragic for this woman's family.
