Heartbreaking news from San Jose came Friday night. Just after 9pm, a truck crashed into an outdoor dining area at the Agave Bar & Grill in San Jose killing one, also leaving two others injured. Six people were dining in the area at the time of the incident.
Witnesses say the driver of the white truck was about to leave when it suddenly reversed into the dining area.
Now, the driver allegedly 32-year-old, Alex Moreno, has been arrested for gross vehicle manslaughter and DUI. The owner of the restaurant stated Moreno & a woman were in the restaurant prior to the incident, sat in their truck for about 30 minutes before it suddenly crashed into the outdoor dining area.
Now, friends of the victim 35-year-old Diana Prieto, are remembering her as a vivacious mother to a 5-year-old, and always happy. Prieto was killed while working as a server at the Agave Bar & Grill in San Jose.
