Oakland Resilient Families is now accepting applications for guaranteed income. They will choose 600 families to receive $500 a month for 18 months.
According to KRON 4,
"300 families will be selected in this phase, and then another phase will launch later this summer for the second batch of 300 families. The second phase will be open to low-income families throughout the city, officials said."
The application deadline for the first phase is June 30th. Eligible families can apply here.
